Day 35: RESURRECTION POWER — LIVING HOPE

Sharon Atkinson (1 Peter 1:3–5)

When we think about the Resurrection, we think Jesus rose from the dead. That’s amazing power—a miracle in itself. Jesus walked in the living hope of glory, even though He suffered so much at the end. But knowing that the Father God was going to resurrect Him to life miraculously, Jesus was always walking in faith. God shows us many times, through Jesus’ walk on this earth, how He performs miracles.

1 Corinthians 15:21-22
It was resurrection power that raised the physical body of Jesus from the dead, and it was resurrection power that brought 3,000 souls into the Kingdom on the Day of Pentecost, when Peter, then filled with the Holy Ghost, stood up and gave witness of the resurrected Christ.

When you believe that resurrection power is residing in you, you begin to activate it through your words. You speak faith-filled words to release THE BLESSING. The power of God is in faith-filled words. If the Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He will make alive your mortal flesh (Romans 8:11).

1 Timothy 4: 9-10
This is the truth, and everyone should accept it. We work hard and suffer much in order that people will believe it, for our hope is in the living God who died for all, and particularly for those who have accepted His salvation.

Acts 2:29-32
“Dear brothers, think! David wasn’t referring to himself when he spoke these words I have quoted, for he died and was buried, and his tomb is still here among us. But he was a prophet, and knew God had promised with an unbreakable oath that one of David’s own descendants would be the Messiah and sit on David’s throne. David was looking far into the future and predicting the Messiah’s resurrection, saying that the Messiah’s soul would not be left in hell and His body would not decay. He was speaking of Jesus, and we all are witnesses that Jesus rose from the dead.”

Activation

  • Reflect: Take a moment to consider your daily walk with God. In what areas of your life do you feel weak, stuck, or powerless? How might resurrection power—God’s life-transforming power—change that situation?

  • Recognise: Recall that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you (Romans 8:11). This is not just spiritual language—this is practical, everyday power that can bring breakthrough in relationships, work, emotions, health, and faith.

  • Respond in Faith: Identify one area of your life where you need God’s resurrection power to activate. Speak faith-filled words over that situation—declare life, hope, and victory in Christ.

  • Step Forward: Take tangible action in faith. This could be forgiving someone, sharing your testimony, taking a bold step in your calling, or trusting God to provide where you feel lack. Walking in resurrection power means partnering with God, not passively waiting.

  • Reflect Daily: Each day, remind yourself that the miraculous is already at work in you. Journaling your observations, prayers, and answers will help you see how God’s resurrection power is moving in your life.
